The Holcomb Orange
and Black Organization was started by a number of people standing on
a street corner in Elkhart, KS at the middle school league
basketball tournament in 2006 and visiting about what we can do to
support the Holcomb Athletic Department.
After visiting with the booster club, the superintendent of schools,
and the athletic director, one month later we were having our first
organizational meeting and it has grown from there.
We have a monthly meeting the first Monday of every month in the
commons area at the high school.
On May 20, 2006 we had our first fund raiser; a 3 on 3 basketball
tournament at Sonnie Baird park in Holcomb, Ks. it was a great
success, and a lot of fun. For more pictures go to the fund raisers
page. Since then we have had a trap shoot, and a golf tournament
which were very successfull.
