Holcomb Jr. High School Male Athlete Blake B.
Blake B. has been nominated for Holcomb Jr. High School Athlete of the Week for Wrestling. Blake placed 2nd in the Hugoton Tournament. Blake beat his first opponents by fall before dropping a close match in the finals to a tough Liberal opponent. Blake is a first year wrestler. Blake works hard improving on the skills needed to compete at a high level. He has remained very coachable as the season progresses. Blake keeps his head up after every match no matter the outcome and has gone from being a good athlete who is wrestling to being a true wrestler when he is on the mat. Great Job Blake-keep it up!!
