Holcomb High School Female Athlete

Mallory K.

Mallory K. has been nominated for Holcomb High School Athlete of the Week for Basketball. Mallory did very well in our wins against both Satanta and Stanton County at Home.  In the Satanta game, Mallory was 3 of 7 from the field and had 10 points and 7 rebounds, shooting 4 of 4 from the free throw line.  Mallory also played hard against Stanton County scoring 4 points, shooting 4 of 4 from the free throw line again for 100% for the week, 8/8.  Mallory pulled down 7 rebounds and had a steal and assist to add to her stats.  Mallory is both a vocal leader and leads by example.  Mallory is always communicating on the floor on both Offense and Defense.  Mallory shows good sportsmanship to both the opponents and her teammates.  Congratulations Mallory!!

Ashley M.

Ashley M. has been nominated for Holcomb Jr. High School Athlete of the week for Basketball.  Ashley is a member of the 7th Grade Holcomb Girls Basketball Team.  Ashley is another strong force inside on both offense and defense.  Ashley's strong presence inside leads to 10 or more rebounds each game.  On the offensive end, Ashley works hard at both the post and guard positions.  Ashley is not afraid to take the ball inside.  Her quick defense has led to numerous steals also.  I appreciate her hard work and effort to help her team be successful.  Congratulations Ashley!!
